Job Description:

Our client is a 40+ year CPA firm that has been identified as a great place to work and boasts a great team environment. The firm provides tax, audit, and accounting services to commercial and nonprofit clients.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individual, partnership, corporate and non-profit clients
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
Communicate with clients and maintain strong relationships
Review and approve work performed by staff
Assist with training and mentoring junior staff members
Participate in continuing professional education to stay current on tax laws and regulations

Requirements:

CPA certification plus
2+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax
Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Experience in CCH ProSystems Engagement and Axcess a plus
Experience with manufacturers, nonprofit organizations, long term healthcare providers and construction companies a plus
