Job Description:

We are looking for a Tax Specialist to advise, monitor and support IKEA Switzerland in a pro-active way on direct and indirect tax matters, with additional assignments within the country insurance coordination.

Job Responsibility:

Manage all direct and indirect tax matters for IKEA Switzerland to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
Ensure accurate and timely filing of the Corporate Income Tax returns, VAT returns and all other reports to local and central authorities and handle tax audits
Support on tax relevant matters regarding management and statutory reporting
Advise the local finance organisation on any relevant tax matters
Ensure availability of books and records in accordance with local legal requirements
Ensure relevant tax competence, knowledge and awareness amongst team members and other relevant staff
Participate in local and global projects (providing relevant input on tax matters)
Manage and lead all insurance processes, procedures and yearly activities for the country in a timely and in an effective way, securing all relevant standards and rules are in place.

Requirements:

You speak German and English and you have a competent knowledge of the Swiss Tax Law and of Finance. For this, you have successfully completed a higher education to a Chartered Specialist in Accounting and Financial Management Federal Diploma or to a Certified Fiduciary Federal Diploma
You have at least 3 years of experience in Tax, in advisory or in-house role and good knowledge in legal and accounting principles
You have good communication skills to understand and explain complex matters to people with different backgrounds and you collaborate with others to achieve goals
You have excellent analytical and numerical skills
You are result-driven and don’t lose focus on details and accuracy
You can comfortably handle unclear or unpredictable situations
You can translate expert knowledge into system landscape and act in a changing and complex environment.
