Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join a secondary school in Leeds. The role involves teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in all areas of Science. Job Responsibility:

Deliver high-quality Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement
Conduct practical experiments, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing feedback that promotes continuous improvement
Maintain a positive, focused learning environment while promoting discipline and respect
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, fostering a well-rounded educational experience for students
Work closely with staff, parents, and guardians to support student's development

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
Eligibility to work in the UK
