Job Description:

Become a guiding force in the educational journey of students with special needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside passionate educators to deliver a curriculum tailored to each student's unique needs in small class settings. Your role will involve fostering independence, managing positive behaviours, and creating an environment where students thrive.

Requirements:

Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent is desirable
Classroom experience is desirable
GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification is essential
Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures
Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual
Be positive and creative in meeting pupils' needs

Nice to have:

Working towards Level 2 award in Support work in schools or an equivalent
Classroom experience
