Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in South Leeds, supporting KS2 students from April to July. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school environment and help pupils reach their full potential.

Job Responsibility:

support the class teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons
work 1:1 and with small groups to provide targeted support and intervention
assist in maths, literacy, and topic-based learning
encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning
support children's social, emotional, and behavioural needs
help prepare classroom resources and contribute to lesson planning
monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the teacher

Requirements:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
experience working in KS2 (preferred)
strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and learning strategies
excellent communication and teamwork skills
a patient, proactive, and supportive approach
commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Nice to have:

experience working in KS2
strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and learning strategies
