Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Leeds, working in KS1 from March to July. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and engaging school environment.

Job Responsibility:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and structured lessons
Work 1:1 and with small groups to reinforce learning and support pupil progress
Assist in phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy activities
Help with classroom organisation, lesson preparation, and resource management
Support children's social, emotional, and behavioural development
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the teacher
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working in KS1 (preferred)
Strong understanding of phonics and early learning strategies
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A patient, proactive, and supportive approach
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Nice to have:
