Job Description:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a supportive team dedicated to empowering students with special educational needs. This role involves assisting students with learning difficulties, personal care, and promoting social skills while fostering equality.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting students with learning difficulties, including autism
Following individual education plans, behaviour plans, and care plans
Assisting with personal care, daily living, and social skills while promoting equality of opportunity
Observing, supporting, and providing feedback to students using clear and appropriate communication

Requirements:

A Teaching Assistant qualification (NVQ Level 2/3)
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience working with students with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
A commitment to high standards and continuous improvement
