Job Description:

Randstad Education is currently recruiting for experienced Teaching Assistants for various roles across Chester and Cheshire West. Opportunities range from day-to-day supply to long-term posts. Working in schools, helping support children with SEN, and assisting teachers in the classroom.

Job Responsibility:

Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to provide support during lessons
Provide general support to the class teacher, such as setting up the classroom for lessons
Support pupils with SEN and develop strategies to best support their needs
Liaise with the class teacher and any other relevant professionals to discuss pupil progress
Provide additional support with lunch and break duties where needed
Report any safeguarding concerns to the SENCo

Requirements:

Previous experience working in Education or similar role
SEN experience
Level 2/3 Childcare qualification (desirable)
Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to apply)

Nice to have:

Level 2/3 Childcare qualification
