Job Description:

Teaching Assistant (SEN) - Poole. Pay Rate: £14.61 - £15.38 per hour. Start Date: May 2025 (with the possibility of an earlier start). Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young adults with special educational needs? Join our team and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment at our school in Poole.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting students with learning difficulties, including autism
Following individual education plans, behaviour plans, and care plans
Assisting with personal care, daily living, and social skills while promoting equality of opportunity
Observing, supporting, and providing feedback to students using clear and appropriate communication

Requirements:

A Teaching Assistant qualification (NVQ Level 2/3)
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience working with students with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
A commitment to high standards and continuous improvement
