Job Description:

SEN Teaching Assistant role in an exceptional school providing a nurturing environment for children aged 7-19 with autism spectrum conditions. The role includes personalized student support, collaborative work with teachers, and opportunities for professional development.

Job Responsibility:

Provide support to students in the classroom
Collaborate with the class teacher
Support students with a range of needs
Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere
Learn and grow through professional development.

Requirements:

A valid DBS check
A full driving licence (preferred)
No GCSE in English and Maths required.

Nice to have:

Experience working in education, children's homes, or EYFS
Experience with Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECs) or other communication tools for non-verbal learners
Experience with speech & language or BSL.
