Job Description:

Join A Dedicated Team and Make a Real Difference! We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive special school near Banstead. If you are committed to helping children with complex needs thrive and reach their full potential, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with a range of special educational needs
Assisting with the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions
Supporting students with their personal care and well-being
Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
Contributing to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
Maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to teachers and other professionals
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

Have a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Are patient, empathetic, and resilient
Are able to work effectively as part of a team
Have a positive and proactive attitude
Are willing to learn and develop their skills
Have experience working with children with SEN (desirable)
Hold a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) (desirable)

Nice to have:

Experience working with children with SEN
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
