Job Description:

Maintain facilities equipment through setup, installation, corrective and preventive maintenance, and ongoing repairs for optimal operation.

Job Responsibility:

Inspect, repair and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery
Exchange information and solve issues
Extract and record engineering data
Apply quality improvement tools
Perform preventive maintenance
Install new equipment
Participate in equipment transfer projects
Maintain inventory for preventive maintenance
Assemble and install new equipment
Perform electrical installations and plumbing according to local regulations

Requirements:

Inspect, repair and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery such as compressors, pumps, motors, using hand tools, vises, drills, lathes, and test equipment
Exchange information and resolve issues with occasional external contact with vendors or customers
Extract and record engineering data from processes using defined methods
Apply quality improvement tools in problem-solving and decision-making
Perform preventive maintenance on facilities equipment according to schedules
Install new equipment under instructions from supervisor or engineer
Participate in equipment transfer projects
Maintain an inventory of spare parts for preventive maintenance
Assemble and install new equipment following drawings and schematic diagrams
Perform electrical installations of 120V, 440V and plumbing according to local regulations
