Job Description:

As a Technical Accounting Manager, you will be working in the renewable energy industry, focusing on accounting activities for the company. You will oversee technical compliance, assist in preparation of financial reports, supervise accounting functions, ensure compliance with laws and accounting principles, and manage team development.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee technical compliance in various accounting topics under US GAAP, including derivatives, business combinations, consolidation/VIE/intercompany
Assist in the preparation and issuance of monthly, quarterly financial reports, as well as annual audited financial statements and tax filings
Supervise general accounting functions such as reconciliations, collections, accruals, fixed assets, and debt
Ensure that all accounting practices are compliant under the law and consistent with accounting principles
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end variance to budget and prior period analyses
Ensure timely submission of compliance filings including income and sales and use taxes
Contribute to the preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts
Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, ensuring effective performance and detail-oriented growth
Implement internal controls and policies system migration and other process improvements and automation
Interpret complex agreements to determine appropriate accounting treatment.

Requirements:

Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
Experience with ADP - Financial Services
Familiarity with Concur software
Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
Strong understanding of Accounting Functions
Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
Skilled in Billing Functions
Knowledge of Private Equity
Experience in Renewable Energy sector
