Job Description:

National broker/dealer, wealth management company with operations in NYC/Parsippany seeks a Technical Accounting Manager. This person will draft technical accounting white papers, provide senior management guidance, collaborate with the Corporate Controller, and handle specialized accounting topics such as lease, equity, and acquisition accounting.

Job Responsibility:

drafting technical accounting white papers
providing guidance to senior management team
collaborating with Corporate Controller
meetings with CFO and outside auditors
advising on acquisitions and combinations of businesses
providing insight into specialized accounting topics

Requirements:

5+ years of exposure in lease accounting, equity accounting, acquisition accounting
CPA or parts passed
experience in public accounting helpful
legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have:

experience in public accounting
