Job Description:

Responsible for the development of Standard Catalog and machined parts like Bolts, Studs, Couplings & Pins based on international standards, work norms, and specifications. Includes supplier evaluation, development, and continuous improvement initiatives, process audits, and maintaining quality standards.

Job Responsibility:

Define process for qualification for standard and catalog parts at suppliers
testing and qualifying criteria including process and manufacturing ability assessments
supplier selection, qualification, evaluation, and development
conducting VDA 6.3 process audits at suppliers
technical discussions and release of suppliers
maintaining suppliers for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Development of Standard Catalog and machined parts like Bolts, Studs, Couplings & Pins
basic knowledge of raw materials & properties testing, Heat treatment & Surface treatment process
basic knowledge in rubber products & manufacturing process
good knowledge in processes like forging, machining, surface treatments and Nondestructive testing (MPT & UT)
knowledge in quality systems
testing standards
defining qualification processes for standard and catalog parts at suppliers
supplier selection, qualification, evaluation, development
conducting VDA 6.3 process audits at suppliers
technical discussions
release of supplier and maintaining continuous improvement.
