Job Description:

Are you an experienced Technical Project Manager with a passion for leading innovative engineering projects? Our client is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team and drive the successful delivery of cutting-edge hardware and software projects. Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage key hardware and software/firmware engineering projects from inception to delivery
Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all project aspects are aligned
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, monitoring progress and ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Prepare detailed reports on project status, budgets, and quality metrics for management and stakeholders
Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors, fostering strong relationships to guarantee successful project outcomes
Conduct risk identification and management to mitigate potential issues, ensuring project continuity
Use project management tools and techniques to measure performance and report on project progress

Requirements:

Proven experience in Project Management within a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, software, systems architecture, etc.)
A Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE II certification is highly desirable
Strong understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and gate methodologies
Familiarity with contemporary ground-based Surveillance Target Acquisition & Reconnaissance (STAR) technologies
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with a knack for clear and effective written and verbal communication
Solid organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to multitask
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and other project management software tools
