Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Technical Services Manager to oversee technical services operations for a high-profile site in Central London. This role involves managing a team, monitoring building system efficiency, troubleshooting issues, and liaising with external contractors.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring all technical services and building systems are functioning efficiently
Oversee the planned and reactive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and other essential systems
Develop and manage maintenance schedules, ensuring all systems are up to industry standards and fully compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Monitor service performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring high levels of service delivery
Coordinate and liaise with external contractors and vendors to manage specialist technical services
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues swiftly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
Provide ongoing support and guidance to your team, ensuring a high level of technical expertise across all systems
Manage budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Technical Services Manager in Facilities Management
Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, etc.) and maintenance management
Experience in managing and developing technical teams
In-depth knowledge of relevant compliance, safety standards, and regulations
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, HNC, HND, or equivalent) preferred
