Job Description:

Robert Half Talent Solutions, Technology Division is looking for a skilled Technical Writer to create, edit, and maintain comprehensive documentation that translates complex technical information into clear, user-friendly materials. This role involves working closely with developers, engineers, and product managers to understand project requirements and develop resources that enhance the user experience, such as manuals, guides, FAQs, and training materials.

Job Responsibility:

Research, write, and update technical documents including user guides, reference manuals, and standard operating procedures
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and clarity of content
Translate complex technical concepts into concise, readable content suitable for various audiences
Edit and proofread documentation to ensure consistency, readability, and alignment with company standards
Organize and manage a library of technical documents, ensuring materials are up-to-date and accessible
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from users to improve documentation quality and effectiveness
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and quality standards in technical documents

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology or engineering industry
Strong understanding of technical writing tools (e.g., Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Microsoft Office, Confluence)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
Familiarity with content management systems and basic HTML knowledge is a plus
