Job Description:

We are in search of a Technical Writer to join our team in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, based in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Technical Writer, your role will consist of creating and updating job descriptions for IT roles, ensuring they are both technically accurate and appealing to potential candidates. This role provides a long term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Create engaging and accurate job descriptions for various IT roles
utilize your in-depth knowledge of technical requirements for IT roles to enhance job descriptions
leverage Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe RoboHelp, and other relevant skills in the execution of your duties
apply your experience with Agile Scrum and AP Style in the development of job descriptions
ensure job descriptions are compliant with auditing standards
develop comprehensive recruiting strategies to fill a variety of roles, from IT to operations
manage full-cycle recruiting processes for roles ranging from entry level to VP level, for locations in the U.S. and Canada
maintain and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary
address and resolve customer inquiries efficiently
process customer credit applications with precision

Requirements:

Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe RoboHelp
experience with AB Testing
familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology
knowledge of AP Style
auditing skills
ability to understand and write about Computer Hardware
strong understanding of the Energy/Natural Resources industry
proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role within the industry
excellent written and verbal communication skills
ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand text
strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to style guidelines
ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

Nice to have:

Experience with AB Testing
familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology
knowledge of AP Style
auditing skills
