Job Description:

We are seeking a Temporary Finance Assistant to join a friendly and welcoming team, who are very passionate about providing the best support to their students. This is initially a temporary position for a minimum of 4-6 weeks however there may be a permanent opportunity available for the right candidate.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and issue invoices to parents / guardians in a timely manner
Process payments received via various methods and send payment reminders
Monitor and update student fee records, ensuring they reflect the current status
Regularly track outstanding fee balances and follow up on overdue payments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and communications related to school fees
Liaise with other departments to ensure correct billing and handle fee-related queries
Prepare financial reports and update debt reports

Requirements:

Previous experience in a finance or administrative role
Strong numerical and financial skills with a high level of attention to detail
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Proficiency in using accounting software or financial management systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive financial data
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have:

Recent DBS or subscribed to the update service
