Job Description:

As a Territory Business Manager for Advanced Surgery at Baxter, you represent surgical products in assigned areas, build relationships with healthcare professionals, and promote innovative surgical solutions to achieve sales goals and improve patient outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

Achieving sales quotas through the direct sale of all products and services
Growing awareness and educating physicians on accurate use of products in surgical procedures
Calling on prospective customers
Providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations
Maintaining effective relationships with customers
Monitoring sales against forecasts
Coordinating with hospital administration, supply chain management, and purchasing
Providing feedback to supervisor and marketing personnel
Working autonomously to achieve established goals.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 8+ years of operating room sales experience
High School degree required
Experience with hospital-based selling in the operating room as well as experience leading a large territory
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and social skills
At least 50% travel is required
Must have a valid driver’s license
Individuals must live within the current geography or be willing to relocate.

Familiarity with the territory
Knowledge of competition in the marketplace.
