Job Description:

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will lead the best practices on testing and automation frameworks leading to shipped software that delivers valuable outcomes for business. You will contribute to Agile sprint goals, perform manual and automated testing, support production deployment, and lead testing teams. Strong emphasis on collaboration, quality assurance best practices, and exploratory testing within Agile environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Contributing to the squad achieving sprint goals following Agile processes
  • Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to develop a strong understanding of the systems and testing objectives
  • Design, create, execute, analyse, manual and automated tests both for the sprint as well as regression testing
  • Support production deployment of applications
  • Ability to write clear bug reports quickly and concisely and collaborate with developers to get them fixed
  • Carry out exploratory testing within an Agile environment
  • Support deployment and assist with production issues
  • Providing team leadership to a group of Test engineers
  • Demonstrating experience and understanding of best practice Quality Assurance in test design and execution and the latest developments in supporting toolset

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of Automation testing background using tools such as Specflow, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman or SOAP UI
  • Writing feature files and developing step definitions using C#
  • Experience in both browser and API based automation
  • Extensive experience in Test Automation on large-scale projects
  • Ability to handle high-pressure environments with complex systems
  • Solid understanding and experience of testing in JIRA
  • Agile development practices
  • Strong knowledge with C#, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL
  • Knowledge of CI/CD
  • Experience in source control systems
  • Strong experience in development and design of automation frameworks

  • Passionate about all things digital and highly motivated with a willingness to learn
