Job Description:

Our team is seeking a Trial Paralegal to support fast-paced litigation cases and help our attorneys deliver results efficiently and effectively. Our client understands that legal professionals appreciate flexibility. They offer up to 3 days per week to work remotely. This team does require that paralegals work 10:00AM - 6:00PM CST, in support of West Coast attorneys.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare, edit, and proofread a variety of legal documents, including correspondence, agreements, and pleadings
Collaborate with attorneys to ensure litigation progresses effectively, taking initiative to update team members regularly on the status of cases and promptly alerting attorneys to pressing client or case needs
Assist attorneys with discovery efforts such as drafting discovery requests, preparing for depositions, and issuing subpoenas
Conduct document review and analysis using litigation software platforms
Manage electronic case files using a document management system (iManage), ensuring organized and accessible information
Support trial preparation, including compiling trial materials, coordinating witnesses, preparing exhibits, issuing trial subpoenas, and attending trial as needed

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal in a law firm setting
Must be adept in using iManage software
Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal certification
Strong communication and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
