Job Description:

A wonderful SEN School in Royston is seeking a passionate Unqualified SEN Teacher to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves planning and delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a supportive environment, with opportunities for career development and progression.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver high quality teaching and learning within a meaningful and engaging curriculum that stretches and challenges all learners within your class
Lead and direct other adults supporting within the class
Assess, report, and record with diligence and accuracy
Participation in physical intervention and personal care routines may be required

Requirements:

You have a genuine passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a strong belief in their potential
You are patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a positive and proactive approach
You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with students, staff, and families
While QTS is not required, previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or care setting is highly desirable

Nice to have:

Knowledge and personal experience of SEN learning particularly sensory lead curriculums
