Job Description:

As an Upstream Global Product Manager at Baxter, you will manage a portfolio of products in the Physical Exam & Diagnostics area. Responsibilities include product life cycle management from conceptualization to discontinuation, strategic product planning, market research, go-to-market strategies, portfolio management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive growth.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with a cross-functional product team to manage product life cycle
gain a deep understanding of customer needs and identify product gaps
partner with program managers, project managers, and finance teams to implement product strategies
strategize, plan, and prioritize market and clinical research
manage go-to-market strategy for the portfolio of products
oversee product cost management and global pricing
support global expansion initiatives and manage product registrations
provide product training and education to sales teams.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, or equivalent required
advanced degree preferred
3+ years of product management/marketing experience in healthcare, medical devices or related fields required
experience with medical device products preferred
demonstrated excellence in product life cycle management, with strong knowledge/application of multifaceted marketing strategies
strong business insight and detailed knowledge of upstream/downstream marketing, sales, operations, regulatory, clinical and NPD processes
ability to travel approximately 25% of the time, including internationally.
