  • Protecting the consistency of the overall user interface and ensure that individual components can be extended and reused
  • Collaborate with technical teams to determine data accessibility and understand technology constraints/advantages for the design structure
  • Examine web analytics to inform overall UX design strategy
  • Help facilitate the visual design and content of reusable components and the design system
  • Identify research-based opportunities to create business value and improve UX
  • Champion user needs and product usability while balancing business and technical constraints
  • Articulate rationale behind decisions and how to prioritize interface features
  • Identify tools, templates and techniques that evolve existing processes

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience in a related field
  • A strong knowledge of user-centered design methods, techniques and principles
  • Experience working with teams on large-scale, long-term projects
  • Experience with group facilitation
  • Experience in designing for mobile devices, including responsive design
  • Excellent oral, written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Axure, Figma and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to lead and influence without direct authority
  • The ability to establish UX methodology, processes, estimates and deliverables
  • The ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities simultaneously
  • The ability to make intuitive leaps to hypothesize design solutions
  • The ability to understand the big picture along with expert attention to fine detail
  • The ability to deal with ambiguity and to convincingly articulate ideas and rationale
  • The ability to work across multiple internal business units and companies
  • The ability to work both solo and within a team
