Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated VAT Accountant to support financial operations across multiple European and EMA countries.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure the accurate and timely execution of VAT & Intrastat operations, meeting compliance requirements
Manage internal and external reporting in alignment with local legal standards
Perform month-end closing activities related to VAT & Intrastat
Maintain and enforce internal controls (SOX) to safeguard financial data integrity
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and standardization
Monitor and meet SLA commitments for VAT & Intrastat processes
Contribute to projects focused on process optimization and compliance

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with a strong affinity for VAT
Proficiency in English
additional European languages are a plus
Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively
Solid Excel skills and a problem-solving mindset
Experience with SAP is a strong advantage
