Job Description:

Randstad is partnering up with a leading insurance and reinsurance services provider globally. They are looking for a vendor relationship manager to join their Malaysia office, supporting operations in the APAC region. This role manages outsourced BPO partnerships within APAC Operations, ensuring vendor compliance with performance expectations, service agreements, and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibility:

Build and maintain productive vendor relationships, collaborating with internal teams like Risk and Procurement
Act as the main vendor liaison, defining and enforcing operational standards
Oversee vendor performance, track metrics, and implement corrective actions
Ensure adherence to SLAs, regulatory requirements, and governance frameworks
Lead or support transitions of new processes to outsourcing partners
Identify and assess new outsourcing opportunities and vendor capabilities
Provide strategic insights on BPO operations, including digital advancements
Manage outsourcing costs, contracts, and compliance with agreements
Contribute to internal reporting, best practices, and business continuity planning

Requirements:

Strong expertise in BPO and outsourcing, particularly Indian-based providers
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
Ability to drive change and work independently
Analytical problem-solving skills with financial oversight capabilities
Knowledge of the insurance industry and APAC regulatory requirements
