Job Description:

Citi is seeking a Vice President for Reconciliations, Control & Treasury – Futures, Derivatives & Clearing to manage treasury and funding requirements, ensure adherence to regulatory processes, communicate workflows, drive change initiatives, and oversee team operations. Applicants should have extensive experience in futures, derivatives, reconciliations, and treasury management.

Job Responsibility:

Management of treasury and funding requirements
application of business acumen by analyzing trends in treasury and control processes
adherence to regulatory requirements
communication of complex processes and workflows
driving change initiatives
supervisory functions in absence of team lead
daily monitoring and processing of exchange and margin calls
creation of metrics for productivity measurement
oversight of balance sheet accounts and break resolution
liaising with finance teams regarding adjustments
execution of collateral asset movements
managing breaks investigation with exchanges, brokers, and affiliates
improving daily processing efficiency and automation
ensuring SOPs are up to date
partnering with business stakeholders regionally and globally.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience in financial organization i.e. investment banking, investment management, hedge fund, exchange
experience in operations risk management across derivatives products
familiarity with regulatory obligations across client money rules and margin calls across Asian futures and derivative markets
experience in controls and reconciliations within futures, collateral, NOSTRO, and general ledger
experience in treasury management or associated fields linked to futures and derivatives clearing
exceptional verbal and written communication skills
proven track record of resolving issues efficiently and effectively
strong attention to detail
ability to write business development requirements for change requests and automation
ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, accounting, or finance.

Nice to have:

Ability to drive change initiatives both global strategic and regional discretionary and mandatory
knowledge of low code automation solutions.
