Job Description:

The job focuses on creating inspiring store solutions that facilitate convenient shopping, increase vitality, and highlight IKEA’s identity. Responsibilities include optimizing store layout, communicating effectively, analyzing consumer behavior, creating visual impacts, and ensuring consistency in store communication.

Job Responsibility:

Use visual merchandising competence to strengthen IKEA's identity in range presentation solutions in store
optimize store layout
develop and implement efficient and effective store communication supporting self-choice and self-serve
learn and understand people’s needs and living situations in local market
create visual impact in all commercial areas, specialty shops, compacts, studios, self-serve furniture, and activity areas
collaborate with other functions on commercial calendar activities
ensure vitality in all areas of the store
use visual merchandising competences and display techniques in various areas
secure high quality, simplicity, efficiency, and cost consciousness in planning and implementing range presentation solutions
present solutions for a sustainable life at home
coordinate with Interior Designer and Graphic Communication for consistency

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years working experience as visual merchandiser from retail companies or industrial design education qualification
ability to plan, present, and implement the range
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to speak and understand English
good analytical skills
ability to prioritize and organize work and the work of others to efficiently use time available

Nice to have:

ability to demonstrate brand identity in a large space
knowledge of architectural elements to create an aesthetically pleasing environment
ability to support visual identity
