Job Description:

We are looking for a VP/Director of Finance to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. This role primarily involves overseeing all accounting functions, auditing, month-end close, and revenue recognition.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage all accounting functions within the organization
Develop and implement effective financial strategies, controls, and processes
Lead the auditing process by conducting internal audits and coordinating with external auditors
Manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Oversee revenue recognition and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
Develop and monitor the organization's annual budget
Address financial inquiries from management in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure the organization's financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance-related role
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions
Experience in formulating and monitoring the Annual Budget
Proficiency in Auditing procedures
Familiarity with Month End Close processes
Expertise in Revenue Recognition
Experience with Revenue Recognition Accounting
