Job Description:

The VP Technical role focuses on leading engineering and technical operations teams, overseeing large-scale projects, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and driving innovation in manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the Engineering & Technical Operations teams, including engineering, maintenance, process optimization, and technical services departments
Develop and execute the strategic vision for engineering and technical operations in alignment with the company’s objectives
Partner with cross-functional leaders to drive innovation in manufacturing processes, systems, and technology
Provide leadership and mentoring to senior engineers, technical managers, and project teams, promoting professional development and a collaborative culture
Ensure that all engineering projects support business growth and enhance manufacturing capabilities, including scalability and cost efficiency
Oversee the execution of large-scale engineering projects, from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements
Manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, including facility upgrades, equipment installation, and process optimization projects
Establish clear project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation, and communicate progress regularly to senior management
Ensure rigorous project management methodologies are followed, including risk management, scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder communication
Monitor and report on project milestones, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Ensure that all engineering activities meet or exceed regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, etc.) and adhere to internal quality systems and procedures
Lead efforts to maintain GMP compliance and certification, ensuring that engineering and technical teams are fully trained and adhere to industry best practices
Implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate engineering and project-related risks that could impact the business
