Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operations Specialist in the manufacturing industry, located in Allen, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing warehouse processes, implementing new workflows, and leading process improvement initiatives. This role will require close collaboration with internal teams to ensure efficient communication and coordination.

Job Responsibility:

Implement improved warehouse layouts and workflows to maximize space utilization and minimize inefficiencies
Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive continuous process improvement
Lead new warehouse initiatives, including evaluating investments and overseeing implementation
Train team members on new procedures, warehouse management systems (WMS), and best practices
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure warehouse efficiency and identify improvement areas
Research and adopt new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance warehouse operations
Ensure all process improvements adhere to safety regulations and best practices
Analyze warehouse processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity

Requirements:

Proficiency in using Manhattan WMS and other WMS Applications
Demonstrated ability to drive Continuous Improvement in warehouse operations
Familiarity with Intermodal Logistics and Logistics & Distribution
Extensive knowledge of Warehouse Inventory procedures and management
Expertise in using Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and reporting
Proven experience in implementing Continuous Process Improvement strategies
Deep understanding of various WMS Systems and their application in warehouse management
Strong ability to manage Warehouse Management processes effectively
Experience in using Power BI for creating insightful operational reports
Capability to streamline warehouse operations through efficient logistics and distribution management
Proven track record in managing warehouse inventory accurately and efficiently
