Job Description:

Whole School Art Teacher role at Dehong Xi'an starting August 2025. Dehong provides bilingual, bicultural education for Chinese students with a progressive approach combining the Chinese national curriculum and inquiry-based English learning. Located in Xi'an, an historic and culturally rich city in China.

Job Responsibility:

Contribute to the development of the expanding school
Play a full part in the school's pastoral care and extracurricular program

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of post-qualifying teaching experience
Knowledge and experience in an inquiry-based curriculum (e.g., PYP)
Highly committed team player
Student-centered approach
Previous EAL teaching experience is desirable
Willingness to play a full part in the school's pastoral care and extracurricular program
Openness and commitment to contributing to the ongoing development of the school
High energy, patience, diplomacy, and enthusiasm
