Job Description:

Randstad Education is seeking a committed and dynamic Year 1 Supply Teacher to join welcoming primary schools across Lewes. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of young learners in a nurturing and vibrant classroom environment.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering high-quality lessons for Year 1 students, following the national curriculum
Providing a safe and engaging learning environment
Supporting students with their academic and social development
Assessing and tracking progress, while providing constructive feedback
Collaborating with colleagues to support the school's overall goals

Requirements:

QTS
PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
Strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and child development
Ability to engage and motivate students in a positive learning environment

Nice to have:

Experience working in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 1
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to adapt quickly and work flexibly in different classroom settings
