Job Description:

Randstad Education is looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Supply Teacher to join fantastic primary schools across East Grinstead. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive classroom environment, and collaborating with teaching staff.

Job Responsibility:

deliver and assess engaging lessons for Year 2 students in line with the national curriculum
foster a positive and supportive classroom environment to enhance learning and development
monitor and track student's progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents
collaborate effectively with other teaching staff to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience
manage classroom behaviour in a way that promotes respect, inclusivity, and academic growth

Requirements:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and child development
a passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential

Nice to have:

previous experience working in Year 2 or a similar primary school setting
excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills
ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school settings
